The Museum of Art and Cultural History in Dortmund: Cultural history in fast-forward – from antiquity to modern design. Visitors find five museums under one roof, embarking on a journey through time from prehistory and early history to the 20th century. Highlights of the collection include the gold hoard of late Roman coins, the Romanesque triumphal cross, the Gothic Madonnas of Conrad von Soest, the Renaissance cabinet of curiosities, and the picture gallery with works from the 18th and 19th centuries.
